Player development is our number one goal

Our system of development centers around the core concept of building the confidence needed to succeed in baseball situations.  The important trait which all successful baseball players have, is an unflinching confidence in their own abilities. When it comes to youth athletes, instilling confidence on the field has been shown to boost mental health off the field as well.

We develop our pitchers

Our emphasis is on developing a team of pitchers by working on proper mechanics, which the kids will take advantage of for years to come as they develop into high school baseball players.  Proper warmups, Long Toss Programs, and Long Term Arm Strength Development.

Practice is fun!

We have well organized practices with drills focusing on the fundamentals.  During practice there will be the opportunity for game play, drill time competitions, derbys, and other activities to keep things fun. The players learn to work hard in practice which leads to better game play.

We have experienced coaches

Our Head Coach, Jon Cuip, has over 20 years coaching experience (2001-2022).  His experience includes coaching youth baseball in the local Austin area, as well as nationwide.  He has also coached and played professionally in Europe, promoting baseball for the USA Baseball Coaches Convention.  Periodically, we have special coaching sessions with former MLB and college players, who also play on our 18+ team. Our assistant coaches are selected based on their experience and dedication to the youth players in the organization.  

Positivity and Respect

Positive reinforcement is key in our coaching. We also encourage our players to stay positive and to always be respectful to the opposing teams and umpires. Good sportsmanship is not expected it is a requirement.  Teaching good sportsmanship from a young age is important to the organization. 

We are affordable

Our club is funded by the membership fees collected from our member base and sponsorships thru our local business affiliations in Austin.  In turn we offer very affordable per season costs for the team comparatively in the Austin markets.
